AMA – American Medical Association

AMA is the creator of Current Procedural Terminology, also known as the CPT code set. In addition to their CPT Professional and CPT Changes: An Insider’s View, AMA has expanded their procedure code book offerings to include HCPCS Level II Professional.

In addition to other coding guides, American Medical Association also publishes ICD-10 books. “The Complete Official Code Book” is now available for both ICD-10-CM diagnosis, and ICD-10-PCS code sets on an annual basis.

AMA code books are published in standard size (9-10 x 12), with softbound or plastic coil spiral bindings.
